Project Description: project management of transition of management from private provider to in house (Council) managed.
Project Deliverables:
- Development of a project plan, chairing project meetings, ensuring tasks are clearly outlined and kept to strict time requirements based on contract start dates and ongoing communications with all internal stakeholders.
- Community and Stakeholder engagement – LARCAN through its affiliation with IAP2 use the most effective methodologies to understand community and stakeholder needs to support the understanding of the needs of the community in their current and future use needs and preferences of the existing aquatic facility.
- Communications. Includes drafting required communications, member notifications on change of management, change of billing dynamics (if required), and any amendment’s to operations as part of a management changeover.
- Supporting in centre tasks and stakeholder engagement as the site becomes operational.
- Centre Operating Budget – support the development of centre operating budgets in conjunction with Councils’ finance team including operational expenses, capital expenses and income projections for core program areas.
- Ongoing advice and support – IT systems in market required to manage and operate major leisure facilities including CMS systems, asset management, maintenance, customer experience, and member portals.
- Staff structures to successfully operate centres, successful transition of employees.
- Advice and review of the development of centre operating manuals, policies, procedures including Emergency Management Plan and site Risk Assessments
