Project Deliverables:
- Facilitating Expression of Interest (EOI) process: Undertake EOI process to identify interested parties, liaison with interested parties, development of a decision matrix to distinguish the most suitable party, and facilitation of an extensive due diligence process that included tasks such as site visit facilitation, interviewing, reference checking etc.
- Community Consultation and Communications: Preparing and executing written and verbal communication plans. This involved writing media releases, partnering with local media outlets, drafting regular written communications for Members, employees, residents, resident representatives, local members of parliament (MPs), local health district, and applicable governing bodies. This also included facilitating and attending regular face to face and virtual team meetings and hosting and speaking at community forums.
- Stakeholder Management: Main point of contact between acquiring party, legal representatives, Board of Directors, and all parties involved in the project. This included a variety of stakeholders such as BCS members, residents, resident/client representatives, various legal parties, local council, third parties and suppliers of the buyer and an abundance of parties relating to BCS. Maintaining strong partnerships and regular communications between Government bodies such as the Department of Health, Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, and the Department of Fair Trading.
- Project Management: Creation of project plan that captured key tasks and milestones. Ensuring the 252 tasks required to reach settlement and complete transition were completed on time and to budget. Information sourcing, accessing, controlling, and exchange between all parties. Keeping multiple parties on task to reach key milestone dates, updating project management tool, and regular reporting to the Board of Directors, members, and legal team.
