Project Deliverables:
- Completion of community engagement plan in line with IAP2 methodologies.
- Design and compile all community engagement materials – both online and print.
- Lead and facilitate extensive community engagement activities, which included: primary and high school surveys (85% of Singleton LGA schools participated), round table forums with all user groups e.g., sports clubs, disability organisations, youth organisations etc., pop up community ‘have your say’, stakeholder workshops, retirement village on-site pop up forums, precinct group round tables, and a range of online and social media surveys.
- Round table discussions with the Local Health District to understand the health profile of the LGA, and emerging health trends and risks that could be addressed via a ‘health and wellness hub’ (the name and concept of a sports centre changed along the journey to a ‘health and wellness hub’).
- Analysis of the engagement data.
- Report on data findings and insights.
